CREDAI stand on impact of demonetization on Primary Real Estate Market

CREDAI as the apex organization in the real estate industry  affirms that the primary market is funded by banks and financial institutions which are all regulated entities. As such,  cash component is not an integral element of the primary market. Therefore, CREDAI  denies adverse impact on the primary real estate market arising out of demonetization. In fact, the primary segment is expected to gain at the expense of the secondary segment of the market with its compulsive cash component.

CREDAI Hosts the Convocation Ceremony of Skill Training for Construction Workers Supported by PNB Housing Finance Limited

Confederation of Real Estate Developer's Associations of India (CREDAI) Chennai hosted the Convocation Ceremony of the first batch of Skilling for Construction Workers. CREDAI conducted the program at Isha Homes (India) Private Limited and Olympia Tech Park Private Limited sites through its training partner Rustomjee Academy for Global Skill (RAGC). The training program was supported by PNB Housing Finance Limited (PNBHFL) under its CSR initiative. Under this program 54 trainees were trained at two sites. 72% of the workers who appeared for the assessment passed.

Signs MoU with Maharashtra Government to ‘Build in Mumbai’

MCHI-CREDAI, Mumbai & MMR chapter of India’s apex developers’ body CREDAI signed a MoU with the Maharashtra Government to build 5.69 lakh affordable homes in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region with a proposed investment of 1.10 lakh core during the 'Make in India' event held last week. This MoU is a major step towards Maharashtra Government’s vision of ‘Build in Mumbai’, which aims to provide 11 lakh affordable houses by 2020. This agreement is slated to bring 75,000 crore revenue to the State Government in the form of taxes.
